Year 4 & 5 took visited Let’s learn Moor at Walshaw Common.
They learned all about the importance of the moors, water safety in rivers and reservoirs, how moor land fires are managed as well as how predators and prey are controlled.

All our children took part in the @NSPCC Speak out, Stay safe program.
They discussed different types of abuse, why it's important to speak out about it and who you can talk to if you are ever worried.
We are pleased to announce that we have achieved the silver school games mark award for PE and sport. @CalderdaleSGO
Our whole school took part in @appyvalleypride workshops.
Our youngest children worked in groups to make banners for a display in the town hall while our older children designed and made their own identity t-shirts that can be worn in the pride parade on 25th July 🌈🏳️🌈
