Our year 5 and 6 children have been making steady hand games in DT.
They researched different children's toys & evaluated their form & function before designing & making a steady hand game that would be both fun to play & help to improve a child's fine motor skills @kapowprimary
🚶♀️Well done to everyone who has earned their October Walk to school challenge badge - keep up the fantastic work🚶@livingstreets
Well done and thank you to everyone who contributed to our harvest food collection for Happy Days homeless charity #harvest2025 #charity @familyoflearni1
October has been Black History Month & we have been learning all about different significant people of colour.
Acorns learned all about Rosa Parks, Saplings learned about Benjamin Zaphaniah and Oaks learned about Nelson Mandela @bhmuk @familyoflearni1
What amazing topic based homework by our year 5 and 6 children.
They have really enjoyed their Extreme Earth topic in geography this half term.
Some children even made their volcano models erupt!🌋 @familyoflearni1
Kira visited from @HealthyMindsCW to work with our yr 5 & 6.
This time the workshop was about sleep, how to have a good nights sleep, how we feel after a bad nights sleep and how this effects us at school and we also discussed things we can do to help us get a good nights sleep.
