In DT we coded microbits to monitor the ideal temperatures for different animals. We coded the microbits to detect temperature changes, sound an alert and display the temperature. Then we created stands using Lego. @microbit_edu @kapowprimary
A huge well done to our year 5 and 6 children who completed their level 1 and level 2 bikeability training 🚴♀️🚴♂️
The trainers were very pleased with the children’s attitudes, determination and behaviour and said they were a pleasure to train over the two days. @BikeabilityUK
The winning dojo point team this term was Weavers.
As their reward they were allowed to wear non uniform for the day and in the afternoon they watched Super Mario Bros movie and had juice and popcorn.
Well done weavers - let’s see which team wins next term?
A huge well done to our quiz team who took part in an inter school quiz organised by Hebden Bridge Rotary Club.
The children were excellent ambassadors for our school.
What a great time we’ve had at cooking club this half term.
We’ve made jam tarts, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, pitta bread pizzas, Gingerbread biscuits, mini scones, short bread biscuits and chocolate nests
Last week was Sign Language Week! We were lucky enough to have Ruth come and teach us some sign language. We all learned how to spell our names, how to sing Happy Birthday and how to sign to the popular song ‘We Will Rock You’ @BritishSignBSL
